MULTI-PURPOSE PILING RIG

The multi-purpose piling rig of ENTECO's offer comprehensive solutions for a wide range of deep foundation projects, covering both traditional drilling and soil displacement.

BORED IN SITU PILES
Equipped with powerful hydraulic rotary tables with up to 760 kNm of torque, the drilling rigs ENTECO's allow the execution of bored piles up to 3000 mm in diameter and more than 110 meters deep. This capacity makes them ideal for deep foundations in particularly dense or hard strata. Various techniques are offered:

  • Dry Piles:Drilling in solid ground without water infiltration.
  • Dry Piles with Casing Protection:For unstable soils. The casing can be extracted or left in situ, installed with the rotary or vibrohammer or additional casing oscillators.
  • Wet Piles:In some cases, drilling fluids (such as bentonite suspension or biodegradable polymers) are used to maintain stability of the borehole.

Once the desired depth is reached, a steel reinforcement is inserted and concrete is poured through tremie pipes.

SOIL DISPLACEMENT
Los equipos ENTECO's Soil Displacement (SP) equipment incorporates advanced solutions and patented tools for high efficiency. They offer SP applications for piles up to 1000 mm in diameter and 46 meters deep in a single stroke.
The SP system uses rotary tables that slide up the mast with a heavy-duty winch. A hollow-pitch drill string drives a tool that displaces the soil. During drilling, the rod and tool penetrate to the desired depth; concrete is pumped through the shank and released at the base. Optionally, a reinforcement can be installed.

Applications and Common Features:
Both techniques are suitable for various soil conditions, including rock formations (In Situ Piles) and loose or moderately dense formations such as mud, clay and sand, with penetration into fractured rock (Soil Displacement).

Key Advantages of ENTECO Equipment:

  • Low vibration and noise.
  • High load capacity.
  • Offshore feasibility (In Situ Piles).
  • Wide range of diameters and depths.
  • Verticality control of piles with electronic devices.
  • No fluids to sustain the pile are required. (Soil Displacement).
  • Data recording and graphical representation (Soil Displacement).
  • Faster production compared to Kelly Auger Piles (Soil Displacement).
  • No material disposal, ideal for contaminated sites (Soil Displacement).
