SHEET PILING ACCESORIES
HYDRAULIC SHORING SYSTEM
Hydraulic shoring technology for deep excavations with prefabricated telescopic profiles. These supports are installed inside the excavation at its perimeter on sheet piles or any other pile wall. The system combines support extensions made of 0.5 m, 1 m, 2 m, 3 m and 6 m long H-beams and telescopic legs with a stroke of 700 mm and an axial SWL of 30 tons at each corner.
All elements have lugs at both ends and are connected to each other in a matter of minutes by means of connecting pins. The entire system is suspended by means of chain clamps on the sheet piles or pile sheeting, to ensure the correct installation of the system. Compared to the traditional method, the work is done much faster, as we avoid welding and cutting of steel elements on site. The procedure is safer as the system elements are manufactured with certificates according to EN 1090 in indoor conditions. Compared to other hydraulic shoring solutions, it is safer and cheaper, as there is no hydraulic cylinder on each reinforcement leg.
SCANTLING PRODUCTION
A scantling, in construction, is a template or guide used to ensure accuracy and uniformity in the installation of various elements. In the case of sheet piles, it acts as a pattern that ensures that each piece is placed in the correct position, thus ensuring the stability and strength of the structure.
How are scantlings used in sheet piles?
- Alignment: Scantlings ensure that sheet piles are installed in a straight line and parallel to each other.
- Spacing: Define the precise distance between each sheet pile, ensuring the correct thickness of the retaining wall.
- Depth: Controls the depth at which the sheet piles are driven, preventing them from being driven too deep or too shallow.
- Leveling: Ensure that the sheet pile wall is level, avoiding unevenness that could compromise the structure.
- Verification: They serve as a reference to verify if the sheet piles have been installed correctly, allowing to identify any deviation.
In summary, the scantlings are essential tools for the correct installation of sheet piles, ensuring the quality and safety of the construction site. By using scantlings, construction professionals can be certain that the structure will meet technical and regulatory standards.
